Homeschooling Organizations

Minnesota Homeschooler’s Alliance: The foremost resource for homeschoolers in the Twin Cities. This is where all parents considering homeschooling should start their research. Includes Minnesota homeschooling laws, lists of homeschool events, links to resources and more.

MACHE (Minnesota Association of Christian Home Educators): A resource for Minnesota Christian homeschoolers.

Homeschool Adventures: A secular homeschool support group in the Twin Cities which organizes events, classes and field trips for homeschooled students. Features a calendar of events to keep homeschooled students busy and active!

Echo-MN: Eclectic Community of Homeschooling Opportunities in Minnesota. A volunteer outreach group that helps guide families in their decision to homeschool. Serves most of Minnesota. This organization is free to join.

Homeschooling Co-Ops

HedFex: A secular and inclusive homeschool co-op in the Twin Cities. Meets in Excelsior with professionally-taught classes for students ages 3-16.

Heritage Homeschool Academy: Based in the north metro, meeting twice per month in Fridley. Christian-based.

Jewish Homeschoolers’ Alliance: Based in St. Louis Park with an emphasis on earning college credits while learning.

Kingdom Builders Homeschool Co-Op: Classes for students in K-7th grade. Meets twice a month for classes. Field trips are also available. Based in Bloomington.

Southern Cross Christian Co-Op: A Christian co-op in Apple Valley. Meets twice a month for students in grades K-8th grade.
