The Thomas Irvine Dodge Nature Center is an environmental education and habitat restoration organization located on 462 acres in the heart of West St. Paul, Mendota Heights and Cottage Grove. Founded in 1967 by Olivia Irvine Dodge, the organization was one of the first nature centers in the state of Minnesota, and is recognized nationally as a leader in environmental education.
Located only minutes from the downtowns of Minneapolis and St. Paul, Dodge offers prairies, hardwood forest, lakes, wetland, miles of hiking trails, a working farm, orchard, bee apiary, and raptor mews. Annually, Dodge provides environmental-based education to more than 55,000 youth and adults last year through classes, family programs, camps, community events, and open hiking.
Mission: Providing exceptional experiences in nature through environmental education.
