It’s here! We’ve been talking about it for a few months and gathering nominations in various categories! The “Twin Cities Moms Faves of the Cities!”
The 1st category: “Favorite Indoor Play Place in the Twin Cities”
A few weeks ago, we asked our Facebook followers to nominate their fave “Indoor Play Place” and we’re opening the nominations for three more days before voting begins on “Faves Friday”, April 3rd!
What is YOUR favorite indoor play place in the Twin Cities? Add it in the comments below or on our “Faves of the Twin Cities” Facebook status and we’ll choose the top five with the most nominations and put them to a vote this Friday!
Who will win the blue ribbon? You, the moms of the Twin Cities will decide that!
Enter your nomination below!
If you’ve been on the fence about getting a Minnesota Zoo membership or your membership has lapsed, you’re in luck!
From April 1-April 30th, to coincide with their “Farm Babies” exhibit, when you purchase or renew your membership you’ll receive an extra TWO free months!
To get this deal, go to MNZoo.org and use the promo code: FARM15 to get your two extra months. What’s awesome about doing this online is that you can print your online confirmation and use it to access the Zoo and Farm Babies in the “Members Only” lane (while you wait for your official membership card in the mail) which tends to save a lot of time!
**This deal doesn’t begin for a few days, but if you sign up for our free newsletter (look up at top of the screen to subscribe) we’ll send you a reminder when the deal is live!**
Farm Babies runs from April 1st through April 30th!
In the meantime, don’t forget to check out our HUGE list of Twin Cities Easter events! Egg hunts, bunny brunches and other fun stuff! We’re adding more every day all the way until Easter!
As always, be sure to follow us on Facebook for even more events and info!
We’re so excited to be participating in this year’s flash sale of the Ultimate DIY Bundle! So many cool things in the bundle this year for anyone who is a DIY’er or “aspiring DIY’er”! I know that this year I decided one of my New Year’s Resolutions was to learn how to do something new that was practical and crafty and I think the DIY Bundle is going to be just the thing I personally need to jumpstart that goal and get started!
What is the Ultimate DIY Bundle?
Just 69 e-books and e-courses full of DIY awesomeness, that’s what! Whether you’re into (or want to get into) crafts, homemade personal care products, cleaning and organizing, canning, cake decorating, gardening, home decor, interior design, painting, upcycling finds from thrift stores, photography, journaling, scrapbooking, sewing, Pinterest, selling on Etsy, making crafting a business, or writing….whew!….there’s something here for you! Best of all? Instead of paying for each resource individually and paying well over $800, you get them all for only $34.95! Plus bonuses too!
There’s a special gift that the bundle team put together that is JUST the thing to get your creative juices flowing! I just subscribed to it myself and now I’m even more excited to dig into the bundle once it’s ready. The gift is called, “Four Steps to Rediscover Your Inner Creative Genius” and if you’re like me, you may wonder if there was ever a creative genius there to begin with! =)
What I love about it is that it’s a four-day mini e-course via email that teaches, in very small, actionable steps, how to rediscover those latent creative juices that may have faded away after getting busy with kids, taking care of a house or working all day.
What I also love about signing up for this free course is that if you sign up and share it with a friend, YOU will get a $5 discount on the complete Ultimate DIY Bundle when the flash sale opens! Refer even more and you can even earn a free subscription to “Better Homes and Gardens” (love that magazine!) and refer even more and you’ll get the complete Ultimate DIY Bundle for FREE!
I love FREE and I know you do too, so this was something that had to be passed on to our Twin Cities Moms readers!
How to get the course and get started!
To sign up for the free e-course just visit: http://bundlecourse.twincitiesmoms.com and use your BEST email address so that you can receive the course and your referral link to let your friends in on this great deal!

You may have noticed that some listings that have been started by our team at Twin Cities Moms, have a button that says, “Claim listing”. This means that if the listing belongs to you (you own the business or have the authority to administer a listing) you can “claim” it and edit it to your liking!
This means you can add a logo or photo, add more descriptive text, include your contact information and basically make it more reflective of your business or organization!
As of right now, we are not charging for listings in the categories that are already present in The Guide if added this month. We will be adding some premium categories in the near future and there will be a small yearly charge for those listings, but through February 28, 2015 listings will be free! Anything added to the listing by a business (not a city, county or non-profit) will enjoy a listing absolutely free for one full year! After one year, there will be a nominal charge to maintain the listing and we’ll notify you well in advance of that!
To recap: Businesses….your listings are free for one year if added through February 28, 2015. Cities, counties, and non-profits (parks, recreation, resources for families, etc) your listings are free indefinitely!
We’re just getting off the ground here but there’s MUCH more in store!
If you’d like to help contribute listings to the Guide, we are making all listings FREE through February 28th! Just click on the “Suggest a Listing” button and we’ll consider adding it to the Guide! If you feel we’ve missed something important, suggest it using that button (whether you are affiliated with that business or attraction or not) and we’ll add it to our approval queue! Are we missing an important category or resource? Same deal….that “Suggest a Listing” button works for categories too! Just put “Category” in front of what you’re suggesting in the business name field and we’ll see if we can add that category!
This Guide is FOR you, ABOUT you and ultimately a collaboration WITH you! We want the entire Twin Cities Moms community to feel they have a stake in this Guide and we certainly appreciate your participation and support!
If you haven’t joined the Twin Cities Moms email list (subscribe box is up top) be sure to get signed up! Subscribers to our email list get advanced notice of giveaways and exclusive content! Plus, every month we give away a $20 Caribou Coffee gift card to one lucky subscriber! The longer you’re a subscriber, the more chances you have to win!
Thanks so much for stopping by while we put the finishing touches on the Twin Cities Moms Kids & Family Guide!
