The most robust Summer Arts Camp in the Twin Cities! Half and full days available, Monday – Friday, June 15 – August 28, 2015. Campers ages 5 to 15 express their creativity as they explore visual arts fundamentals and experiment with real techniques in various art forms (painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, glass fusing, woodworking, mosaic, mixed-media, photography, printmaking, fiber arts and more). Our flexible program lets you craft a summer art experience that’s unique for each child and fits the family schedule. Art helps children gain confidence, build social skills, practice problem solving and stay sharp through the summer break.
Art classes, workshops, family workshops (adults and children/teens doing art together), and birthday parties (ages 5-12) are available at the Minnetonka Center for the Arts. All exhibits are free and open to the public and children are welcome and encouraged in our gallery with an adult. Everyone is welcome at the Art Center! The building is fully accessible and open M, W, F 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. / T, Th 9 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. / Sat. 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. (after 6/22, close at 1 p.m.).
